Why hire a driver?

We offer driver services to provide you a safe and enjoyable experience in wine country. You will be picked up/dropped off at your hotel (or other designated meeting point); we follow your schedule for the day. Our driving service costs $50 per hour, with a 5-hour minimum, for up to 4 guests. We accept cash, major credit cards (through PayPal) and Venmo. As is fairly standard in wine country, we do have a cancellation policy: free cancellation up to 48 hours, or $100 if cancelling within less that 48 hours). We supply a pristine vehicle for your comfort, as well as snacks and plenty of water.

Services are currently available on Saturdays and Sundays only.

The Wine Tasting Experience

Napa and Sonoma offer a diverse array of tastings and experiences. Whether you are an experienced vinophile or a newby just learning about wine, whether you want to visit big name brands or prefer small boutique family-run establishments, there is something for everyone.

There are plenty of things to see beyond wine as well: many wineries offer galleries, sculpture gardens, unique architecture….even an authentic castle or French chateau, there is something for everyone.

Tips for planning your journey:

To avoid feeling rushed, we recommend allocating 2 hours per winery, longer if you will be joining a tour or if your tasting includes a food pairing. We recommend visiting no more than 3 to 4 wineries at most in a day (after that, its not tasting – it’s just drinking!). Consider adding in a leisurely lunch or picnic, or stopping at a winery with other attractions like art, to help pace your day.

While the valley isn’t large, roads are small and traffic can be slow, so it is best to pick wineries in the same area or work your way north to south (or vice versa). If you have dinner reservations, consider ending your day in the vicinity of the restaurant.Due to social distancing and capacity limits at wineries, we recommend securing your wine tasting and dinner reservations at least 4-6 weeks in advance.
